Good morrow, friends and readers! ‘Tis I, Y. Alcazaren – thirteen-year-old devourer (and author) of fantasy novels, biology nerd, and an enthusiast in chess, archery, medieval bladed weaponry, piano, violin, birdwatching, obscure dog breeds, personality types, and mythology. I began writing novels at age nine and self-published my first, The Five Dragons: Darkness Rising, when I was eleven. My newest work, the first installation in the Thornsong series – Thornsong: The Lantern Bearer – is coming out this year – and it’s the first book set in the world of Arvian, so rest assured I am enthusiastic for its release.
